Specialists of Bamtonnelstroy-Most Group have started metro construction in Krasnoyarsk

There will be built 17.2 kilometers of underground structures of high-speed ground and underground light rail transit system, including interstation tunnels, station complexes and tunnel structures.

In Krasnoyarsk, specialists of Bamtonnelstroy-Most Group have begun preparatory works for the construction of a high-speed ground and underground light rail transit line. At Ulitsa Shakhterov metro stop, builders will relocate utility networks. A thousand meters of electric cables and communication networks, as well as some elements of urban water supply and sewerage systems are to be transferred from the area on Molokov Street that is included into the construction zone.

“Simultaneously, the specialists of the company will begin to construct the launching pit at Ulitsa Shakhterov metro stop. It will be needed for further installation of two tunnel boring machines (TBM) that will bore two interstation tunnels with a length of 3,275 meters, each starting from Ulitsa Shakhterov metro stop towards Karl Marx metro stop. Each TBM is 6 meters in diameter,” General Director of Bamtonnelstroy-Krasnoyarsk LLC Vladimir Gartig commented.

In Krasnoyarsk, Bamtonnelstroy-Most Group specialists will build totally 17.2 kilometers of underground structures of high-speed ground and underground light rail transit system, including interstation tunnels, station complexes and tunnel structures, among which are three underground metro stops, namely “Vokzalnaya”, “Ploshchad Revolyutsii”, “Karl Marx”, as well as one ground metro stop “Ulitsa Shakhterov”.

At the peak of construction, up to 9,000 builders and over 300 units of machinery will be involved.

Workforce: 260 workers

Shift camp modular buildings (including dormitories, a canteen, an administration and amenity building) for 4,500 people per shift were built and are ready to be relocated to the construction site “Solontsy”. The works have begun, the territory development plan is being drafted.

On December 15, 2022, a plant for production of high-precision reinforced concrete lining for future metro tunnels was launched. The plant projected output capacity is 600 tunnel lining rings per month. Bamtonnelstroy-Most Group specialists plan to produce about 14,000 rings in total.
