Builders of SK MOST Group of Companies carry on with reconstruction of a steel bridge over Vetluga at the 570th kilometer of Vetluzhskaya – Bystrukha leg of Gorkovskaya Railway Line.
The channel span deck that is 126-meters long was replaced and the second channel span deck, which is to be installed in the midsummer this year, was preassembled in December 2011.
The second span deck will be replaced by moving it transversely within the time window of 30 days. The builders will use the same time window to replace two side span decks that are each 34-meters long.
The bridge on the odd-numbered truck over the Vetluga River at the 570th kilometer of Vetluzhskaya – Bystrukha leg of Gorkovskaya Railway Line was built in 1925 and needs to be reconstructed.
The bridge length is 332.19 meters. Bridge design: 34+2×126+34 m.
The work on the site has been conducted from November 2010. The entire project is to be completed in November 2012.
