The tunneling was carried out using the Robbins EPB-2015-371 Tunnel Boring Machine. The builders started driving the interstation tunnel in December 2012. The 1906 meter long tunnel was driven from the “Lermontovsky Prospekt” station. The average tunneling speed was 22.4 meters per day. The left interstation tunnel “Vykhino” – “Lermontovsky Prospekt” was driven in November 2012.
