“We do know that the Tagansko-Krasnopresnenskaya Line is congested, and the problem cannot be resolved if we only extend the line. That is why we have been also building a Kozhukhovo Line to the Nekrasovka Station, which will significantly ease up the southeast-bound traffic. This is a huge construction project, which includes the construction operations at several stations at a time, with completion scheduled in 2016-2017. I think that the project will help solve the problems of Moscow and the region in the entire southeast area”,

The length of the Moscow Subway Tagansko-Krasnopresnenskaya Line section between Zhulebino and Kotelniki stations is 1.4 kilometers. This section of the line runs at a low depth underground.
The Kotelniki Station is located in the city of Kotelniki, Moscow Region.
As of December 20, 2014, the stage tunnels between the Zhulebino and Kotelniki stations have been completed, and the major parts of Kotelniki station cast-in-place reinforced concrete facilities have been built. In addition, structure waterproofing and backfilling have been completed, and power is now supplied to a step-down traction substation. Escalators have been started-up to break-in, and the tracks have been installed.
Installation work is carried out in the aboveground station halls, and finishing, installation and shakedown operations carry on.
Construction work began at the Kotelniki Station in 2012. It is expected to be put in service in the first quarter of 2015.
