The Amur Ministry of transport and construction has presented a draft of expenditures of the road Fund of the region for 2016. It is planned to spend 3.7 billion rubles on the construction and reconstruction of regional and local roads. One of the key objects of the 800-metre bridge over the river Selenga, which will provide 5 145 residents of Northern villages Seleindzinski district year-round communication with the mainland.
The budget of the road Fund and the list of road works in 2016 were the main issues at the meeting of the Governor of the Amur region Alexander Kozlov, the Minister of transport and construction of the region Andrey Tyaglo and the head of the state institution “Amuruprador” Alexander Selin. Next year, it is planned to spend 3 billion 781 million rubles on road works in the region.
According to Alexander Selin, in the coming year, it is planned to continue the reconstruction of the Zea-Tygda highway and bridge crossings over the Urkan and Podbiralikha rivers. The road is the only transport link connecting the city of Zeya with the Federal highway “Amur”. It is also proposed to eliminate 5 bridges recognized as emergency, and build new ones, which were discussed at meetings with the population.
In 2016, the bridge over Selemdzha, which is located on the 303 kilometer of the Vvedenovka — Fevralsk — Ekimchan highway, will also be commissioned. Currently, 5,145 residents of localities located on the right Bank of Selemdzhi in the area of Ekimchan village can only cross to the other Bank by ferry and ice crossing, which could not provide year-round communication. With the commissioning of the bridge, it will be possible to get to the neighboring Bank independently and at any time of the year.
The Selemdzha bridge will be the completion of a global project implemented by SK MOST since July 2013. It provided for the construction of a 10-kilometer section of the Vvedenovka-Fevralsk-Ekimchan road with three bridge crossings – across the Selemdzha, Ulikagut and Yellow rivers. The total cost of the project exceeds 4.6 billion rubles.
In compiling the list of road works for 2016 took into account the opinion of the district departments of the Amur UGIBDD UMVD of Russia, heads of areas and settlements of the region. This instruction was given by the Governor in the spring of 2015 when visiting the districts of the region. At that time, the heads of state spoke about the need to work together when repairing roads, since vital sections of roads remained without proper attention of road workers, the regional government reports.
“The prepared list of objects will be further discussed at an expanded meeting together with the heads of the Amur region districts and representatives of the UGIBDD of the Ministry of internal Affairs of Russia for the Amur region. Local managers will be able to correctly prioritize the selection of construction projects. Soon we will again discuss which facilities will be reconstructed and built in 2016”,– said the Governor Alexander Kozlov, summing up the meeting.
According to the head of the region, the list of works for the next year will also take into account the passage of school and passenger routes, the availability of alternative routes.
