Dredging operations at the Sabetta seaport have been completed

Dredging works planned for 2016 in the seaport of Sabetta and on the sea channel of the Ob Bay have been completed in full.

The volume of dredging this year was 17.5 million m3.

The work was carried out twenty-three pieces of equipment, including bilge dredger “Northern Dvina”, recently submitted to the office of the Arkhangelsk branch of FGUP “Rosmorport”.

The results of the work formed the waters of the auxiliary and cargo berths, approach channel with a width of 315 meters and a mark of bottom minus 15,1 meters, sea canal with a width of 205 meters and a mark of bottom minus 15,1 meters.

The implementation of the project made it possible to ensure that tankers with a draft of up to 12 m intended for the transportation of LNG and GC entered the Sabetta seaport.
