The construction site of the future bridge today, April 26, was visited by the presidential envoy to the far Eastern Federal district Yuri Trutnev and the Governor of the Amur region Alexander Kozlov, the press service of the regional government reports. Now the construction site is deployed on both banks of the Amur river. On the Russian side, two contractors are involved: JSC USK Most and JSC Asphalt. Workers have already made traffic on the island Kankurgachi, paved process area for future support, finish the construction of a temporary crossing of the canal Concurrency. At the same time, the roads connecting the future bridge With the entrance to Blagoveshchensk from the R-297 “Amur” highway are being filled out. About eight kilometers of road are ready.
As reported by the first Deputy Chairman of the regional Government Marina Dedyushko, today the issue of the international checkpoint remains unresolved. The ferry itself is being built under a concession. But the WFP cannot be included in a concession and built as part of a public-private partnership. Neither Russian nor Chinese legislation allows this. “Now the Ministry of transport of Russia is working on making changes to the legislation,” Dedyushko explained. In the near future, the construction model of the point will be chosen.
Yuri Trutnev, in turn, promised to give instructions to the Ministry of transport of the Russian Federation. “It is necessary that they do not contribute and help, but resolve the issue,” the presidential envoy said.
“The Amur region will become a pioneer, because Russia has not yet had experience in building checkpoints within the framework of public-private partnership. And, of course, the experience of concluding an intergovernmental concession agreement is unique for our country”,
– said Dedyushko.
Recall that the cross-border bridge over the Amur river in the area of Nurgan began to be built at the end of last year. The length of the structure across the main riverbed will be 1.1 km. The construction will cost about 19 billion rubles. It is planned that the bridge will open in December 2019.
