Well-coordinated interaction of employees of the SK MOST Group of companies with JSC “Russian Railways” and FBU “Administration of the Volga-Don basin of inland waterways” made it possible to perform the work in strict accordance with the schedule until the end of the navigation period in 2017.
The total length of the installed spans in 2017 was 418 m (4 spans), the installation plan in 2018 was 286 m (one “raft” L = 2×77 m and one truss L = 132 m).
Currently, preparatory work has begun on the Assembly of the subsequent spans of the bridge over the don river.
Work is also underway on the Site to install support parts and the upper structure of the track on previously installed farms, strengthen the embankment slopes, construct a dam, install paramilitary guard buildings, and reconstruct communications.
The opening of traffic on the bridge is scheduled for the end of 2018, and work is being carried out in strict accordance with the schedule.
