JSC “USK MOST”, which is part of the SK MOST Group of Companies, will carry out repair and restoration work on the existing bridge over the Zeya river in Blagoveshchensk.
The road bridge over the Zeya, which is an important transport artery of the capital of the Amur region, is now operating in emergency mode due to subsidence of the floor slab. Traffic is carried out in reverse mode, and for vehicles weighing more than 3.5 tons, travel is prohibited.
According to Eduard Davydov, Deputy General Director of JSC “USK MOST”, the bridge restoration includes repair of the longitudinal metal beam, as well as replacement of reinforced concrete slabs of the roadway.
“This is a necessary, urgent measure – emergency recovery work. The city is in many kilometers of traffic jams, so it is necessary to restore the safe movement of trucks to provide the city with food, to resume full-fledged bus service”,

JSC “USK MOST” has been working in the region for a long time. The company’s specialists built the Russian part of the first cross-border road bridge between Russia and China.
In addition, in may, a contract was signed for the construction of a new bridge over the zeyu river. Due to the emergency condition of the existing bridge, work on the new one will begin earlier than planned. It will be used for automobile traffic in one lane in each direction. According to preliminary estimates, the project will allow to unload the existing crossing by 40-60 %.
