Governor Vasily Orlov Discussed Construction Progress of the Zeya Bridge at the Meeting with Bridge-Building Specialists

The Head of the Construction Directorate - Deputy General Director of USK MOST JSC Eduard Davydov reported on the pace of construction of the new bridge over the Zeya River during the meeting chaired by the Governor of the Amur Region Vasily Orlov.

The foundation pits for piers Nos.23, 24 and 26 have been excavated. The constructors have already completed the concreting of the first pile cap of the 23rd pier on the left bank. The installation of bored piles for supports Nos. 6, 23, 24 and 26 has been fully completed. The installation of piles for supports Nos. 21, 22 and 25 is in progress. A detour road was laid in the area of support No.25.

Also, the pylons are installed and a temporary power line of 10 kW is connected to the electric power system. Two substations have been launched at construction sites No.1 and No.2, on the left bank.

The installation of modular dormitories at construction site No. 2 is nearing completion. Installation of survey marks continues.

“Now 267 units of special construction machinery are accumulated at the sites, at the moment 136 units are involved in work. By the end of October, it is planned to mobilize the other 13 units. More than 500 people are engaged in work,”
