“Construction is on schedule. To this date, five bridge piers are ready 100% ready: Nos. 6, 23, 24, 25 and 26. These piers are required for the first stage of the superstructure launching on the left bank, which is scheduled for April. The pre-assembly of the launching nose is underway. Work at the both banks is going on day and night. To date, about two thousand specialists are involved in the project,”

he said.

“I see that serious work is underway, the builders are doing well. The most important is to put the facility into operation on time,”

Marat Khusnullin emphasized.

Reference Information:

The new road bridge will have twenty-six piers and a cable-stayed structure. The total length of the facility is 9 km, of which 2 km are the bridge section, 7 km are the approaches.

Car traffic on the bridge will be arranged in one lane in each direction. According to preliminary estimates, project implementation will decrease the traffic load on the existing bridge by 40-60%, which will allow the residents of the Amur Region to cover the distance between the city and the federal highway with great comfort.
