In June, it is planned to switch traffic from Gorky Street to a temporary bypass road.

The supervisor of the project, Eduard Davydov, who is the head of the branch office of USK MOST JSC, reported to the Governor what had been done over the past two weeks. According to him, the facility did not suffer any damage from the second wave of floods. The second stage of launching was completed – this is a 168-meter span structure on the left bank.

“The launching was successful,” noted Eduard Davydov. – “We continue to work on the pre-assembly of the superstructure.”

On the right bank, as a stage of the preparatory period, builders are about to complete the work on utility relocation. They started the rearrangement of the road network.

“In June, we plan to switch the traffic from Gorky Street to a temporary bypass road and, consequently, we will open the second building site for the construction of retaining walls at the entrance to the bridge. We carry out the pre-assembly works of steel structures of the over-water superstructure. 585 tons were assembled, there are 1,747 tons of steel work of the superstructure on the site. The work is on schedule, the planned date of the first stage of launching from the right-bank construction site is the second decade of June,” said the project supervisor.

On the left bank, pre-assembly of the steel work of the superstructure is underway. 1,390 tons were assembled, in total 3,746 tons of metal structures were delivered. All deliveries are on schedule.
