Since June 22, the specialists of USK MOST JSC, which is part of the SK MOST Group of Companies, have urgently participated in flood prevention measures taken in the vicinity of settlements stuck in the flood zone on the territory of the Amur Region.
“We approached the chief executives of large organizations that possess road and other special equipment for assistance in protection of settlements from flooding. The builders of the Zeya Bridge have actively responded to our appeal. The delivery of inert materials for the construction of dams in the villages of Vladimirovka, Grodekovo, Kanikurgan and Zazeisky has been organized promptly; now the construction of dams using local soil is underway in Ust-Ivanovka. We are grateful to the management of USK MOST for the invaluable assistance provided to the residents,” emphasized the Minister of Transport of the Amur Region Alexander Zelenin.
The builders have already supplied more than 1,500 cubic meters of sandy soil, which is used by volunteers to build dams, and have also constructed more than 3,000 cubic meters of dams from local soil.
