Eduard Davydov, the project supervisor and the head of the USK MOST JSC branch office, reported on the situation
As for today, the approach roads on the left bank remain flooded, and the level of groundwater is still high. Eduard Davydov, the project supervisor and the head of the USK MOST JSC branch office, reported on the situation:
“Having a successful experience in overcoming the previous flood, we raised all special equipment and mechanisms to high ground levels, on the embankment. On the left bank, temporary structures were protected by an earthen bank. We redeployed the administrative and residential modules, removed the equipment from the supports and intentionally flooded three pits. Now, as the water has gone, we have begun to eliminate the consequences and assess the damage of the latest flood. “
731 people and 184 pieces of equipment are involved in the construction of the new Zeya Bridge.
