Specialists of Bamtonnelstroy-Most Group of Companies have received state decorations

The Minister of Transport of the Russian Federation Vitaly Savelyev presented state decorations to 56 specialists of Bamtonnelstroy-Most Group of Companies (BTS-MOST Group).

The official award ceremony took place on January 19, 2022.

Earlier, Russian President Vladimir Putin signed a Decree on awarding state awards to 32 specialists of BTS-MOST Group for the great contribution to the construction of socially significant facilities of the Russian Federation, as well as an Order on awarding Russian Federation Presidential Certificates of Honor and Certificates of Gratitude to 24 employees of BTS-MOST Group.

Vasily Fomin, Adviser to the Chairman of the Board of Directors for Tunnel Projects of BTS-MOST JSC, and Oleg Ferdman, First Deputy General Director of STROY-TREST JSC (a member of BTS-MOST Group) were awarded the Orders for Services to the Fatherland, IV degree. Vladimir Lobanov, Adviser to the General Director of BTS-MOST JSC, was awarded the Order of Alexander Nevsky.

The Orders of Friendship were presented to the Deputy General Director for International Cooperation of UFSK MOST JSC (a member of BTS-MOST) Olga Vodneva, Deputy General Director for Special Projects of BTS-MOST JSC Alexander Volnov, and Deputy General Director for Project Support of BTS-MOST JSC Andrey Anikin.

The Medal of the Order of Merit for the Fatherland, I degree, was presented to Maria Anichkina, Deputy General Director for Corporate Management of BTS-MOST JSC, and Viktor Ryndych, Chief Engineering Technologist of STROY-TREST JSC.

General Director of BTS-MOST JSC Alexander Popov and General Director of STROY-TREST JSC Vyacheslav Kokurovsky were awarded the title “Honored Builder of the Russian Federation”.

The Honorary Diploma of the President of the Russian Federation was given to Deputy General Director for Prospective Projects of BTS-MOST JSC Roman Navruzov.

Bamtonnelstroy-Most Group of Companies (BTS-MOST Group) is Russia’s largest construction company employing unique experts in the construction of tunnels, large and small bridges, railways, motorways, ports, berths, hydrotechnical facilities, and runways. 

The history of BTS-MOST started in 1975. On 9 January 1975, the USSR Ministry of Transport Construction by Order No. 12 established Bamtonnelstroy Construction Department in order to build tunnels on the Baikal-Amur Mainline. Thanks to the legendary construction project, more than 5,400 Bamtonnelstroy specialists received state decorations and three specialists were awarded the title “Hero of Socialist Labour”.

Over 46 years of the company’s existence, the specialists of BTS-MOST Group:

have built more than 100 km of tunnels, including the Severomuysky Tunnel (15.3 km long), the First Baikal Tunnel (6.7 km long), and the Second Baikal Tunnel (6.7 km long);

have constructed facilities on 15 railways out of 17 railways of the Russian Federation;

have constructed and reconstructed more than 2,800 bridges, including the bridge to Russky Island, featuring on a 2,000-ruble banknote, and the Blagoveshchensk – Heihe Bridge,the first cross–border highway bridge between Russian and China;

have carried out dredging works with a total volume of 70 million cubic meters during the construction of the the Sea Port of Sabetta;

have built a combined road and rail line “Adler – Alpika-Service”.
