As part of the strategy to create an infrastructure #MEGAPLAYER, Gazprombank has signed a cooperation agreement on the construction of the motorway “Perm Northern Bypass” with the Government of the Perm Region and BTS-MOST JSC.
The document was signed by First Vice President Alexey Chichkanov, Governor of Perm Krai Dmitry Makhonin and Chairman of the Board of Directors of BTS-MOST JSC Ruslan Baisarov.
Gazprombank and BTS-MOST JSC will consider an opportunity of participating in a construction project on the grounds of concession to build a motorway with a length of more than 50 km. In this case, Perm Krai will act as a concession provider.
“We are glad to participate in the development of one of the key social and strategic transport projects in the Urals together with our partner. The high-quality road network is the most important thing to boost growth of Perm Krai, because the region locates in the middle of transit and trade routes connecting Asia and Europe,” First Vice President of the Bank Alexey Chichkanov said.
“The region is developing the road network. The design and estimate documentation for the construction of the Perm Northern Motorway Bypass is ready. The project includes the construction of a road with a length of over 50 km, 9 road interchanges and a bridge across the Kama River, which will be built upstream of Kamskaya HPP. The implementation of the project will give us an opportunity to unite the Western, Southern and Eastern road bypasses of Perm into a ring road and reduce traffic load on the bypasses and the existing bridges over the Kama River. The new bypass will provide a convenient link road between Krasnokamsk and Dobryanka in the area of Bobka village and reduce travel time by nearly half an hour. In the future, the Northern Bypass will become a part of the “Northern Latitudinal Corridor”, which forms a section of the North West – Siberia Federal Route,” Governor of Perm Krai Dmitry Makhonin emphasized.
“The project of the four-lane Perm Northern Motorway Bypass involves construction of two-level interchanges, flyovers, as well as an oversized bridge across the Kama River with a length of more than 2 km. Our company has unrivalled experience and all the technical equipment necessary for the construction of such facilities. We believe that the implementation of such large-scale project in partnership with one of the largest Russian banks will allow us to build a high-quality road on schedule,” Deputy General Director for Prospective Development and member of the Board of Directors of BTS-MOST JSC Vitaly Shishmarev said.
As a reminder, the Bank’s total portfolio of road infrastructure projects exceeds 700 billion rubles.
Perm Krai is one of the priority regions for the development of Gazprombank’s business. In 2021, the Bank invested 23.14 bln rubles into regional enterprises and organizations.
